The latest Destiny 2 weekly reset has now arrived to deliver some fresh milestones, challenges, and loot for Guardians to earn, but some may be having trouble with the Week 2 Ascendant Challenge that recently made its way into the game. Should this be the case for the reader, then follow along to discover just how to triumphantly tackle the challenge and collect the rewards from the fruits of this labor.
As seen in the video below from the YouTuber and Destiny 2 fan known as “SneakyBeaver”, the objective of the Week 2 Ascendant Challenge is to locate and dunk three separate arc charges into the middle of a room located in the Gardens of Esilia, which is an area found south of The Strand in The Dreaming City. Doing this will create a Well of Light for unlimited Supers, and should be followed by defeating all of the remaining Knights in order to unlock the chest.
There’s no doubt that SneakyBeaver makes it look easy in the video above, but it’s worth noting that everything related to Destiny 2‘s Week 2 Ascendant Challenge is set at 560 light. So, for those who are currently sitting at about mid-500s, executing the tasks at hand will likely prove to be a lot more difficult for those who are not at the appropriate level, even though players can dish out Supers at a much higher rate.
All things considered, it’s fun challenges such as these that have a lot of Guardians proclaiming that Destiny 2: Forsaken is just the shot in the arm that the sequel needed in order to sustain itself even further in its post-launch lifespan. And with The Last Wish raid set to launch in just a few short days from now, there’s a good chance that long-time players and newcomers alike will continue singing the praises of the game’s latest expansion.
Destiny 2: Forsaken is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
